Hello Experts, While performing the Bellcore (NEBS GR-63-CORE) Needle Flame Test on electrolytic capacitors withstanding high temperature up to 105 deg.C, a break of hermeticity with subsequent release of hazardous substances may occur. Does anyone have had an experience in successfully passing the test? Could you write up on this subject or give me a pointer to any application notes addressing this issue.
If my memory serves me well, a similar question was posted about a month ago or so and briefly discussed. Thanks in advance for your advice.
