Yeah, I was heavily smacked around by UL for asking this question on the
web. My reasoning is that no one in the UL org knows the answer, this is a
professional web site for our compliance community and the client needed
answers fast.

Sooo, not to be too bent on this, I believe the UL stance is to "no bid" or
just let the client wander off before speaking with my peers out of the
fear they may begin to think that UL does not know everything. How proud.
I'm saying this with tounge in cheek so dont get me wrong cause I do
understand the positioning though disagree with the logic but thats between
you and me.

Please understand, as I'm sure you do, that my market segment is
telecommunications. This is absolutely the most difficult one to grasp.
When I have question I will refer to the ICS or Mike or your self but what
do you suggest when "we" dont know? I just cant let the client wander
aimlessly when I could ask someone for direction or an answer. Please help
in this regard as it is not my intention to piss off the powers that be.

Hopefully this stays between us, I'm in enough hot water as it is.....

Jason
