Modem Test Engineer Opening in Santa Clara
Join 3Com's Global Homologation team in Santa Clara and lead modem approval efforts worldwide. Provide telecom. compliance advice to international design teams and lead technical and testing efforts to bring 3Com modem products to market in Europe, Asia, Latin America and North America. Successful candidate will be a highly motivated test engineer with prior compliance testing experience with modems and desire and ability to learn test methods for new countries and new technologies. Ability to manage technical projects with global customers is essential. Contribute to global success of 3Com's wide range of products - industry leading desktop/internal modems, PC card modems, DSL products, Remote Access Servers, VOIP routers. This position requires previous modem compliance testing experience (e.g. FCC Part 68, CTR21...). This is NOT an EMC/Safety testing position.
