The approval holder must have some UAE presence or a percentage of UAE involvement. Finding a UAE distributer can overcome these rules. UK generated test reports on EU EMC and safety standards are usually accepted. CENELEC CCA or CCB scheme safety is also usually accepted, some telecom procurement type tests will be conducted.
