Thanks to those folks who responded, I appreciate what you are saying and agree that really this is a marketing issue.
If I reply explaining that our products do support many ISDN types (ETSI, DMS1000, NI-2 and ATT5ES) with options on coding (u or A law) and a good selection of video standards, we can operate successfully (and do) in HK. We are however reliant on end users setting up the equipment correctly whereas in other countries, we provide default menus. I have raised the question from an approvals viewpoint in that HK can provide many types of ISDN, which would be the most widespread in HK so that we could configure a basic HK menu option? This has proved a bit of a technical challenge to our marketing guys so I wondered if my colleagues in Treg land could give some pointers! I will be away from the office for a week or so , if anyone does have some feedback I will be pleased to come back to some Treg e-mails on this subject. Once again, thanks to those who have already commented. Regards: Bill Ellingford. Approvals Manager, Motion Media Technology Ltd
