DO NOT RUN ANY ATTACHMENT "HAPPY99".
Some important things (like RTTE dir) are due to be published so many people
may open Happy99 in anticipation of genuine news. I fell fowl of the HAPPY99
virus, fortunately NORTON have the cure. Doc Solomons didn't find it!

Hi Treg
WRT double or triple insulation, this can be in the form of sleeved wires.
i.e. a single insulated wire can be sleeved to make double insulation,
likewise, a second sleeve or double insulated wire with a sleeve will be triple
insulated.

I have used this proceedure to add a sleeve to single insulated parts in close
proximity to live mains parts thus achieving double insulation.

Sig Systems
Data on SS7, DSS1, Qsig, DPNSS etc.

Many of these are referenced by ETSI, ETS300 series standards. SS7 and DSS1 in
particular due to ISDN Interworking aspects. Look at the ETSI/FR www site.

Also, contact some big name PABX manufacturers (tech depts). The major players
used to have a Qsig working group covering DPNSS and Qsig standardisation,
Mitel, Siemens, Nortel, Alcatel etc.

Subject: Triple insulated wire . . . . . . !

Hi folks,

Does anyone out there have any information regarding the use of "triple
insulated wire" and the ramifications of 60950 ? I am seeing more and more
references to this "strange product" which does not seem (in my humble
opinion) to obey the rules !
