From: Scott Roleson <[email protected]> Subject: Telecom Port Tests in CISPR 22??
I am seeking advice on how to perform the so-called "telecom port tests" in CISPR 22:1997. Specifically, is there a commercial source for the "impedance stabilization networks" specified in Annex D, or is it necessary to custom-build these? Also, is this test really as complicated as it looks? I am also interested in hearing from testing firms who have done these tests and offer this testing for a fee, but please respond directly - This message is not intended as an invitation to advertise on the TREG. Thanks! These tests are relatively new, having appeared in only the current (third) edition of CISPR 22 (section 9.5). Alternate measurement methods are presented, and suggested networks and test set-ups are described in annexes. Does anyone have any experience with these tests that they would be willing to share? -- Scott R. ----------------------------------------------------------------------- Scott Roleson, PE (MS-61U74) | Internet: [email protected] Telecom & EMC Engineer | http://home.pacbell.net/SRoleson Corporate External Stds | Telephone: +1-619-655-4809 Hewlett-Packard Company | FAX: +1-619-655-5931 16399 W.
