Anyone know of a reason why a Treo 650 would randomly dial a number?

Up until now, I thought this was my fault, due to the way I typically
carry my BT headset - I thought it was causing a last-number-redial by
having one of its buttons held in. But today, my Cingular Treo 650,
with the current firmware, randomly started to dial a number in my
contacts list. It was not the last number dialed, and my headset was
not in a position where any of its buttons could have been pressed.

The number dialed is in my Favorites, but it is not the first Favorite,
nor is there a hotkey assigned to it, nor was I even on the Favorites
display.

I just tried getting tech support for this from Cingular, they passed
me to Palm where I spoke to a nice Indian lady who recommended that I
try things I've already done (and I told her that, several times). Ie,
hard reset/reinstall. Though granted, the hard reset/reinstall was
done a couple months ago for a different reason. But on the gripping
hand, this problem both pre and post-dates that last hard reset.
