I had to uninstall the palm software and reinstall it and it said it put
‘bad programs’ in a folder and now is ok. I have to go find folder and see
what’s in it.

I’m deleting all of those, I’m still hanging and the files seem to return,
at least some of them. Sigh. Maybe I need to remove some programs. I have to
figure out what.

I'm not sure it was Volume Care by itself but maybe VC in combination with
the Thompson medical program that is over a megabyte in size. I have deleted

that BIG program and reinstalled CallRecord, so far so good. I have not
reinstalled Volume Care though...

Ok deleting volume care wasn't enough for me, how did you get into all these
directories to delete these files. Where is the install folder? I'm synching
with ms outlook as my conduit.

Help!

To quote Bill...

Is it still hanging during the install phase? If so, browse the following
desktop directories and delete anything they contain:

C:\Program Files\palmOne\<your_user_id>\CardInst
C:\Program Files\palmOne\<your_user_id>\Install
C:\Program Files\palmOne\<your_user_id>\QuickInstall\ExpCard
C:\Program Files\palmOne\<your_user_id>\QuickInstall\HandHeld

Bill

Hope this helps... let us know.
