Not suprisingly so. More memory: not only Flash (limited impact) but more important DBCache RAM which is known to cause added drain. Speakerphone is a lot louder as far as I understood (so there is more power needed).
I can get close to 2 days with quite some calls and heavy PDA usage. Recently I have added a Proporta USB mobile device charger to my backpack, so I can recharge when needed, wherever I am.
