Some have posted that turning off threading (Chat --> Never) solves a lot of
these problems in the built-in SMS app. I'm currently testing to see if
increasing the cache threshold so that whenever it drops below 13mb the cache
is flushed. I use Reset Doctor for that.
Alternatively, just try Agendus Mail. It comes with an SMS client that doesn't
seem to suffer the bugs present in the built-in SMS client. I have tested it
for a few weeks without a single lockup or reset.
