Yes, push only works with Exchange Activesync, not with POP email which I presume sprintpcs.com is, although I don't know for sure.
There was quite a discussion on this group several weeks ago about hosted Exchange service. There are many service providers with pricing ranging from $2/month to $50/month depending on what is offered. I settled for now on 1and1.com's Exchange service at $7/month. With the exception of a weird time zone problem with appointments created in Outlook, it works fine. I believe the push support they added was only for MS Exchange/ActiveSync. There's a new version available for download from Palm's web site that supports push. But it only works on the 700p (and the 680?), but not the 650. Sam Yahoo!
