So,

I finally figured out how to record and view TV and VHS on my 600 with the
V-Mate, and DVDs with TCPMP and FUW - Hey Alli, thanks for pointing me in
that direction.

And just like you said Mike, the 2G SD's work fine. I picked up a couple of
them so one can be home recording while the other one is with me to watch
between my day job and my evening one. On "BEST" mode I should get approx.
3.5 hours per card (MPEG-4) or 7 hours (3GPP). A high-res screen would make
all this a thing of beauty but it's decent enough.

Hi Karen,

you're welcome, I'm constantly amazed how capable the Treo 600 still is.

I still think mine is brilliant after two years of use, I've got several tv
programs on my 2GB card and a lot of music. I use the Treo as an mp3 player
when I go running, the sound quality is excellent.

The only time I ever think there's anything wrong with the screen
resolution, is when I compare it with my cousin's Treo 650. The rest of the
time I'm perfectly happy with it.

Mike Dyer.
