Funny story.My old reserve unit went north of the border to Canada for some joint training and when coming back, obviously, we got stopped by customs on both sides. Well, I guess we were the odd number picked for random searches. They were going easy on us, going through the motions and not hassling us too much when a young, immature enlisted guy screams out "what the f**k, do they think we have a BOMB or something?!?!".well, if you can imagine, everything got quiet, all eyes went to him.and a 20 minute inconvenience turned into a 4 hour ordeal from hell. and I'm thoroughly convinced that he would have been charged had it not been for his reserve status, if for nothing else than to provide some satisfaction for the officers who had to waste their time with the full, complete and very detailed search. We never let him hear the end of it. Even after a tour in Iraq, his nickname is still "Abdul the bomb maker".and he's Italian, so he COULD pass for a man of Arabic descent.
