OK, one more bit of info about this VRFM9 unit. I tried plugging in a
full-sized USB hard drive (3.5" 120VAC unit) and the VRFM9 did not
recognize it. So, no joy on that.

However, I did verify that any sort of flash media with MP3/WMA files
on it is playable through a USB flash drive reader. I tried out both
a 4GB Compact Flash card and a 128MB Smartmedia card (LOL) and the
VRFM9 played content off of either. One caveat: it will only play
content on ONE card at a time as it doesn't recognize multiple drives
simultaneously.

So, for <$50, I'm still very impressed by the feature-set and overall
performance of this FM transmitter. If anyone else grabs one, let me
know how you like it...I'm curious as to others' experiences with it.
