When I went to sync my 680 this afternoon, it wouldn't, claiming that "another application was using the port". This was on the Treo side, not the desktop side. The only thing that resolved it was doing a soft reset.
Later on, I had the Treo in the cradle and on, and I left it on so I could reference what I was displaying... and the screen dimmed. The phone was NOT in use, and that's the only control I can find anywhere to dim the screen, is when on a call. So I did a soft reset and it seems to be back to normal.
