I tried to get the opera for palm, but got windows on the site. Can I have

I tried it. It downloads data faster, because it uses a proxy that
compresses things for you, and no, you cannot change this, it's
hard-coded into the program. So far as I could tell, that's the only
benefit.

It may display things better.

I found the program itself to be much slower than Blazer, which I blame
on it being written in Java. Whether because the code is being
interpreted at run time or because it needs to access the massive JRE
libraries to do anything (or both!), I do not know. I also found its
UI to be poorly designed, common tasks are difficult to do because
they're hidden behind layers of menu commands, and I found it to be not
possible to organize my bookmarks beyond adding and deleting them.

It requires a larger investment in time and effort to really use than
I'm willing to give it.
