Not mine! The $50 rebate now being offered came out AFTER I bought
mine.

Whatever.

Like I said, when I'm so unfamiliar with an area that I need written
directions a la TomTom or Google/Yahoo! maps, personally I'm pretty
careful and I don't miss turns that often. I suppose if I do,
though, I could probably **gasp** stop and ask for directions! Low
tech, but it used to work. ;-) And there is the internet
functionality of the Treo, although I wouldn't want to rely on that.

I have no idea why that would've happened. With the SD card, I
didn't even use my computer to set up the TomTom on my Treo. I only
installed the CD on my computer a few days afterward, and it gave me
no problems whatsoever. (It's still there, as a matter of fact.)

Me, too! I have yards of it and I use it for everything. But I'm
still resistant to sticking it on my dashboard unless I absolutely
have to. It's the same feeling I get when someone wants to stick one
of those "easily removable" bumper stickers on the paint portion of
the car. "Thank you, I know it's safe, but I'd rather not."

I just wanted to share my own experience -- it seems I spend tons of
money on every, single new gadget that comes down the pike -- I'm a
real tech junkie. But even for me, after using it for a month, the
TomTom for Treo was just too much off the scale, especially (as I
said before) since my next car will probably already have a satellite
nav system pre-installed.

The size and functionality of this unit would make it great if I got
lost hiking though!
