For reasons mentioned in another rant, I'm thinking of buying the
unbranded/unlocked version from Palm. I travel out of the country some,
so having the unlocked version would be a good thing (my 650 is unlocked).
Has anyone experienced any problems activating the Palm 680 on the
Cingular system? It seems I should just poke my 650's SIM in it and turn
it on. True?
Or does Cingular discover I've upgraded my phone and start charging
me for the privilege.
