Well, after 9 years with Voicestream/T-Mobile I took a risk switching to
Verizon. I did it because T-Mobile finally admitted that they had no
plans to improve cell coverage in my immediate area (north west of
Denver), because they clearly indicated that they have no plans to
directly support Treos anymore, and because the 700p came out for
Verizon! I would have considered Sprint, too (and they have some
advantages, for instance paying 1/3 of what I pay now for unlimited
data), but Sprint has the same issues around here that T-Mobile does.

No cell company can be all things to all people, but Verizon does a
pretty good job of doing everything I need it to do. If I traveled
extensively internationally I'd probably still be with TMo, though, and
using unlocked Treos as I did with my 600 and 650.

Cheers,

Don

Comments like that could make me think about switching.
