It looks like the RomUpdaterApp.prc for the 680 may have shown up on a Chinese Treo web group. That one piece of code is, so far, of no use to anyone, but, if it's true, it may mean that we can at least expect test versions of the first 680 ROM update to start appearing, as well as the first 680 custom ROMS. <http://discussion.treocentral.com/showthread.php?t=142440>
The first ROM updates I applied to my 650 were test versions that made their way onto a Hong Kong Palm-related board. If I remember correctly, those appeared about 2 or 3 months before the official release. _______ Bill
