I use GSM (Cingular). I've been with Cingular for over 5 years, after having used everybody else over time (Cellular one, then Verizon, then T-Mobile, and back to Cingular). Cingular has the most consistent coverage in the places where I generally spend time (although things might have changed in the last 5 years), and my customer service experience with Cingular have generally been very good. Since I travel internationally once or twice a year, I prefer to keep GSM, so changing to Verizon or Sprint aren't really an option. For me, the 680 was a nice upgrade from the 650. As others have said, it's an incremental upgrade rather than a revolutionary one, but the sum is an improvement. The 650 was really, really good anyway, so I wasn't looking for major changes. Some notes: - The increased memory and improved stability are very nice. This is clearly the key improvement. - It feels a tiny bit smaller than the 650 did, mostly because of additional tapering in the design. - For me, the lack of antenna is a mixed blessing - it certainly looks better and reduces the footprint, but it's a lot harder to get it out of the case! - Can't get high data speeds, which is a bit of a drawback. I manage pretty well with regular GPRS, but faster would be better :-). - I realize that a lot of what makes my treo work great comes from 3rd party apps, but it still works great for me! - I wish they hadn't mucked up the LED support in the 680. That's the one thing we've lost... Sam
