BTW, for those "in the clouds" (or the mines) times, I have T-bird on a
2Gb USB Cruzer. Works good, and another good reason for the address book
being in T-Bird - because as I ready for being without my laptop (it
happens) I can update the thumb drive and head off.
Of course, truth it, that only would be a factor if the 680s battery
flattens, because Versamail's been doing me fine on my three POP3
accounts when I'm on the road.
And when I'm on the road professionally, I can write my stories on
the laptop, save 'em to SD, and attach 'em to email out of the Treo's
Versamail.
So I'm really all set. I just hate having to enter email addresses
in two places. It's a personal idiosyncrasy.

whose awareness of things Chinese is bounded by an occasional dish of
chow mein. We grieve only for what we know./
