umm, do we really need to ask this or do we already know the answer?

Yeah, but . . . he shouldn't have to. A utility like this should have
been tested enough to NOT (ever) remove the default web browser from the
Pref's screen, and NOT to leave behind a file that I can't figure out
how to delete (actually, I can, but most people couldn't and I shouldn't
have to)!!

OTOH, that same site, whether represented officially or unofficially by
Jose, has a tool called SkinUI which I like, which I will probably buy,
and which Palm should implement!! The Tiger UI is particularly
pleasant.

Jose, you should explicitly tell us right now whether you're just a
happy user of their stuff, or represent them in some way.

Craig, I assume I have to do a warm reset to get Filez to delete the
damned residual file that Uncache shouldn't have left behind.

. . . time passes . . .

Yes, warm reset allowed Filez to delete the file. Web is once again the
default web browser, and links again work in Versamail. Even on this
list, I doubt a majority of people would have known how to do that.
Developers, like my kids, should clean up after themselves better. . .

Cheers,
Don

If you can access your backup program, (depending on which backup
program you use), do a backup of *only* your contacts and calendar. Then

restore from before the fuss...then restore the recent contacts/calendar

db. Problem solved.
