In fact, in this case (residual file) hard resetting and restoring the backup
would probably NOT solve the problem...

So know you all know how to remove it. :-)

BTW, the developer is a well-known and very skilled guy by the name of Dmitry,
he is the developer of programs such as UMDH, BluePill, and many other that
hack the Palm in a lower-level than most programs. Uncache is NOT a speed-up
program. In fact I believe it has two major flaws: NOT to popup one or two
screens when first ran to explain briefly what it does AND default to "no
programs launched" (if I recall correctly) rather than "all programs launched".
What it does is to release the "Palm has reset" code ONLY to the programs you
select, so your Palm will not load ALL programs in RAM in your DBCache after
rebooting, just the ones you selected. This speeds up considerably the boot
time and helps you start with a bigger free DBCache area (and one that is a lot
less fragmented). The program IS useful but it is NOT for the faint of heart
and I would not use it without browsing forums "out there" to check what to add
in the "run this at boot" exception window.

OK, it appears that Uncache leaves behind a residual file -- something
