So, despite the fact that dmitri could have easily implemented a couple of
things that would make installing this much easier for users, rather it is the
fault of Palm and subsequently all software developers who have written code to
comply with Palm's flakey NVFS design, and it is the users obligation to spend
hours wiping his Treo and installing things one by one so that this one program
might work? Call me silly, but there are no lags in my Treo 700P that are long
enough to justify such measures, especially when they can be avoided entirely
by the programmer designing this program you have lauded with some standard
failsafes.

Hello Everyone,

Been fly fishing. Don't want to risk the
Treo while wading in a river. Anyhow, since this is starting to feel like a
witch hunt....NO I am not associated with Dimitri, I am however a happy
customer. And frankly, I think he is in the same if not a level above
Shadowmites caliber.

Just wanted to share a gold find. Apparently, there are to many variables
out there to satisfy everyone.

So here I sit in my car, drinking Tim Horton's coffee, and typing away at
this reply using my BT keyboard. It's just amazing how fast the letters are
appearing on the screen.

Try a hard reset and clear everything. Install Uncache and then reinstall
everything one by one.

I'm sure when Palm's new firmware comes out with a fix like this the same
issues will arise. Palm only has to satisfy a setup like that of a new treo
right out of the box. They are not responsible for making every software
out their compatible with their new firmware. The same goes with the
developer of Uncache.

Bottom line is do you want to get rid of that annoying lag when you invoke
the phone screen, and tap your contacts? Or when you go into Snappermail,
and try to choose a To: contact and experience that god awful lag????

This is the fix for it. But unfortuneately some software is incompitable
with it. Maybe if Palm had gotten it right the first time, all software
would have been written correctly in the first place!

That's it. This rates up there with ROMtool for the T650. That was a fun
program, and likewise not man could get it to work either....

Good luck.... :-)

PS Just got a call from the wife....phone went to call interrupt, and I was
able to ignore and switch back to snapper like super fast!

Jose
