That's right. When I inquired why that is, I was told, "We don't want no high-falutin' sissy-pants eastern bureaucrats tellin' us what time it is." ----- Original Message ----- From: lskohn To: [email protected] Sent: Sunday, May 20, 2007 9:59 AM Subject: [Treo] Re: Email Time is Wrong sorry for the late response, but I'll bet this is somehow related to AZ's timezone craziness. You guys still don't believe in Daylight Savings Time, do you? <g> I don't know enough about how Versamail works to say who forgot about AZ, but I suggest you start with the palmone.com website forums or support if no one responds here. I am assuming that your phone shows the correct AZ time with your settings as described - otherwise, Verizon would be the likely culprit. --- In [email protected], "George Kontos" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > > Using Versamail on a Verizon Treo 700p in Arizona (Mountain Standard Time). > > I just noticed that if I receive an email that originated in a time zone different from my own, the time is off by an hour. For example, a message arrives at 9:30 AM, but Versamail shows it to be 10:30 AM. And back when the USA switched to DST earlier than usual, I did install the Palm patch for that. Also, I have my date & time prefs set to "Get date & time from mobile network" and "get time zone from mobile network". > > Ideas? > > George Kontos > > > [Non-text portions of this message have been removed] > Yahoo!
