I just downloaded the 680 Software Update from Palm, and in reading
the directions on their website, it seems that I need a separate
expansion card reader to install this update via my Mac to the Treo
680. It mentions being able to do it with the expansion card in the
Treo, but the instructions only detail how to do it with a separate
expansion card reader that then plugs into the laptop. Is there a way
to install the update without using the expansion card reader (i.e.
by leaving/erasing/updating the SD expansion card in the Treo while
updating?
