Good to hear, as I'm using a 680.

About six months or so ago when two things happened almost
simultaneously: I upgraded from a 650 to a 680, and the ear loop on my
Logitech headset broke. The Logi wasn't working properly with the new
Treo so I was going to replace it anyway.

Both the Logi and the Plantronics I replaced it with use their own
charger and socket.

But the, you can't charge them both at the same time unless you have a
second charger. In which case, it doesn't matter if it's the same or
different because you have to use two different plugs anyway.
