Good to hear, as I'm using a 680. > > I've never owned a headset that took anything other than their own > > charging socket. And personally, I see no problem with that. > When was the last time you bought one? My first couple of BT headsets About six months or so ago when two things happened almost simultaneously: I upgraded from a 650 to a 680, and the ear loop on my Logitech headset broke. The Logi wasn't working properly with the new Treo so I was going to replace it anyway. Both the Logi and the Plantronics I replaced it with use their own charger and socket. > (2 Jabras and the Treo headset) each took a non-standard charger, but > it seems that some vendors are now being smart and matching the power > plug to something else. Motos designed to work with Moto phones match > the phone's charge plug, the Treo BT matches the Treo, Sony matches But the, you can't charge them both at the same time unless you have a second charger. In which case, it doesn't matter if it's the same or different because you have to use two different plugs anyway. -- Jeffrey Kaplan www.gordol.org The from userid is killfiled Send personal mail to gordol Tips for the Evil Henchman: 8.
