Okay, I took the leap of faith (since it made sense to me anyway)  
and charged the Seidio initially in the 680, and have had no problems  
since. It's beginning to look like the battery will perform as  
advertised and also as others here have discussed here - I charged it  
initially for over 8 hours in the phone and am still waiting, now  
36-48 hours after initial charging, to see it drop down to ~0% power  
so that I can recharge it a few more times and "set it" for optimal  
power/life characteristics. My OEM Treo 1200 mAh battery never lasted  
this long, and I'm still not even down to 50% yet! More later.
