I've been discussing this very issue all evening. I am convinced the lack of a real keyboard will be the downfall of the iPhone. Imagine trying to maneuver that touch screen with your finger in the humid heat of summer in the south. Imagine having to remove your finger from your thermal insulated glove to maneuver that ice cold screen in an upstate NY winter. Not bloody likely.
