Well coat me with honey and tie me to an ant hill! I guess it doesn't work! I rely so little on hotsync anymore that I guess I just hadn't done it, although I would have sworn that's the way I got Handyshopper on to the 755p. I guess maybe I did that before the Vista laptop arrived.
So, the only way to install is to email a PRC to oneself or perhaps to copy it to the card and then move into RAM? How sloppy of Palm to leave us in this position. Vista's been out for awhile. One can hardly buy a computer without it, and there's no way for mere mortals to install any Palm stuff on a brand new computer?? Very sloppy. Speaking of sloppy, I guess my understanding of what Quick Install is was pretty sloppy. I always assumed it was a different best from "regular" install since it has a separate icon. Guess not.
