Right.  When I got my 700p I tried 6 different local stores, 
including Radio Shack and the usually reliable You-Do-It-Electronics, 
also several other phone stores that carried the 700p.  Nobody had 
this adaptor.

I ordered a couple of the Sedio units, and they work fine, delivering 
decent stereo to the same phones I use with my iPod.
