Well, if the battery's confident, who am I to argue. Besides, I bet
it'll work just fine with a piece of grey duct tape to hold it in.
Seriously, though, I'm amazed at how many oddities there are among
phones that have come out at more or less the same time. It seems Palm
could have saved itself a lot of money stuffing the various models into
the same case. This cable works with one but not the other. That cover
fits the other but not the first.
On the other hand, if Palm's goal was to make-work for third party
providers, I guess they did OK. But I remember a time when somebody over
there understood the common meaning of the word "universal."
