Another bit of trivia that I heard on SlashDot Review Tech News the other day... you cannot use the iPhone as a PDA or MP3 player unless you purchase the AT&T cell phone service plan. Apparently there are already hacks out there to allow you to do just that, but you need to edit code in iTunes to disable the blocked features. The hack allows all the features to be used without a service plan, except of course, the cell phone.
