This is just a thought but make sure there is not lint or foreign type stuff on 
the Jawbone contact,  my experience with the cover is throw it away mine fell 
off the first day and just laying here by the computer.  It would not take much 
dirt or something to keep a pin and contact from mating. After 30+ years in the 
electronics field that has happened more times then a person wants to count.
