I'm a little frustrated with the limitations of Palm, mainly multimedia,
but also the inability to use what I think is a flash tool to follow a
baseball game, live. So I've been thinking of going back to a phoneless
device like a PPC and a BT phone for connectivity.

But, then I thought of how convenient it is to have everything in your hand
in one package. I thought of the hassle of carrying two devices, managing
two batteries while surfing, etc. Not to mention the pain of grafitti or a
virtual keyboard. And if I have to look at google maps in a hurry, it's
easy on the treo, but would be a pain on a PPC linked to a phone via BT.
And boy, do I hate virtual keyboards. Detest them.

"So," thought I, "why not keep the treo for all these reasons and then use
the treo as the modem for the other device when I want to do the flash or
multimedia things?" MaAy sound crazy, but it would work, wouldn't it? Or
would the Foleo do these things?
