Just got a refurbed 700p as a backup device to my current 700p. I'm thinking of using the SD card method of updating its firmware. I notice that the directions on the Web say to copy my PC's PALM folder to the card before doing the upgrade. Do I really need to do that? I'd like to just do the upgrade on the hard reset device, and then do a restore of all data and applications manually. Can I do that?
