Wait, I'm confused. The Palm battery in my 755p says 1600mAh on it. Does that mean that the 755p has a larger stock battery than the 680, given that you're ordering a 1600mAh battery from Seidio? I thought the stock batteries in the two devices were the same.
I do recall both the Verizon rep and the Sprint rep telling me that the batteries in those two machines would last longer after a few full charges. Who knows, maybe it's true!! This battery is +almost+ too thick to fit the Treo 680. It's so tight, I have to practically force the cover on and off. Seriously, if it were one tenth of a millimeter thicker, it wouldn't fit at all. It's also heavier, which is to be expected. I didn't weigh the batteries, so I don't know. What's odd about that, though, is that I didn't feel the difference when handling the batteries by themselves (individually), but once I put the new one in my Treo, I immediately noticed it was heavier. It's been in only about four hours, so I have no comment on the charge life yet. I should start to get a feel for that over the weekend.
