Let's see...off the top of my head I can think of: - Shared, web-accessible calendaring (nothing for iPhone and ClearSync for Palm costs $20+ a year per user) - Shared, web-accessible Office-style document creation/editing (nothing for iPhone and Docs To Go doesn't share well, certainly not collaboratively in real-time) - Shared, web-accessible mapping with rich timely information (Google Maps for iPhone and Palm are good, but the full Ajax Google Maps is significantly better) - Gmail (the "plain-HTML" experience on my 700p is a bit sluggish compared to the Ajax experience on a real browser) - Shared, web-accessible photos (Picasa. .Mac is close for the iPhone, but there's nothing like it on the Palm, certainly not for free) - Google Talk (with VOIP) - Google customizable search - and so on... Basically, there are stripped down and/or dumbed-down versions of many of Google's services for existing phones, but what I really want is a phone that lets me run the full Ajax/rich experience versions. Could they add Ajax to the Treos? I dunno...if they could, I'd be just that much less interested in a better solution from another company.
