Yeah Datebk5 did the same as noted in the link. TreoMsgr is a commerical app 
that let's you schedule SMS messages.

 The boss said text him when you get done with a project, but you finish at 
2am. Do you send the text then or in the morning? What if you oversleep?

 With TreoMsgr you can setup the SMS at 2am to be sent to the boss at 8am the 
next day. 

 Just one example.

 I had the same problem. It is a Saved Preference conflict issue. Mine 
 was with Lexspell and TreoMgsr.
