I must admit I'm very very impressed with the improvement shown after installing the VZW MR 1.10 firmware update.
1. I find that I can now finally use the built-in SMS application instead of the reliable but anemic Iambic SMS application. The former used to lock up the device many times a day, so had to stop using it altogether. Now it works beautifully, the way it was intended. What a nice app. I just wish it allowed me to move to the Next Message while viewing a message on the screen. 2. The device seems more stable. One thing, though. I frequently get a No Data Connection error message when attempting to get email. When this happens, I find I have to try about 3 or 4 times to get a connection. I know this is a known problem. Sometimes I wonder if there's a file I have installed from before the update that is hindering this connection. I'll have to try a Hard Reset and see what happens.
