I think I found the workaround for the data connection problem we experience after applying the VZW 1.10 MR firmware update. This is the problem where the user receives an error message, telling them the data connection could be established, so try again later. The workaround that seems to be working over the last 24 hours is this:
Have the device automatically start the data connection when the phone is turned on: Preferences Network Options (off the Menu) Preferences I had turned this off before because I thought it might drain the battery more than necessary. But having the device establish the data connection each time the phone is turned on seems to have corrected the data connection problem this update introduced.
