Carl, are you saying that you used to have a 650 - which behaved like this -
and now have a 755P and it never behaves like this? How long have you been
using the 755P?

Is there anyone else reading this who has a 755P and *does* experience this
issue (screen taps being ignored for periods of several seconds then all of
them being accepted and acted upon)?

I am trying to decide which way to go when my VZW contract is up - 755P or
iPhone. The latter would mean that I would have to switch to AT&T and the
slower throughput, but the WiFi would make up for this in a lot of areas -
especially my home. No WiFi on the Treo. :-(

The function prioritization for me is the phone first, then text messaging
(via SMTP), then email, and finally web access. Camera is a bonus (if it is
much better than the 650s) but is not essential. Camcorder feature is
meaningless. One of the things I like about the Treo is all the apps that
are available. Hopefully this will also be the case for iPhone at some point
(???).

I have the Treo 755p. It most likely was a 3rd party app that was
conflicting with another app. I mean sometime the delay was soooo loooong
that I thought the battery had completely drained.

Thanks,
I'll see you on the web!

So whatever model you switched to doesn't do that? What's it got, a faster
processor?
