I have a Sprint Treo 700p with the 1.10 ROM update. As a test (and because I suspected), I backed up my entire handheld with BackupBuddyVFS. Then I hard reset it and restored the backup. Now my handheld has more free memory available according to ZLauncher. ZLauncher showed 23.2 MB available prior to the hard reset and restore. After it, ZLauncher shows 28.7 MB available - a difference of 5.5 MB. I have compared the before and after database lists, and they are exactly the same. So after a simple hard reset and restore, with the same stuff loaded on it, my handheld has more memory available. Anyone else notice this? Know why it happens? (Probably has something to do with the NVFS storage, most likely.)
