OK, a year ago my wife gave me here 650 she bought on Ebay, she did
not like it, it was too bulky, too hard to hear blah, blah, blah.
Anyhow, I had a PDA which I use to use for my work, but could never
get disciplined enough to keep it updated, and got tired of carring
PDA and Cell Phone and my old cell phone was limited but able to keep
my contact info. I never have really used my Treo to it's full
potential, because I have to carry another cell phone for work, and I
did not have it hooked up to the internet because of cost per KB. I
had to take my Treo to the store the other day because some screws
fell out of it and wound up hooking i up to the internet because on
the unlimited acess it was so inexpensive ($15 a month). Then I
picked up a great book on how to get the most out of my Treo. All I
can say is wow, I feel like an idiot not using this thing to a tenth
of its potential. I was so impressed I bought a used 700 off of Ebay
that is being supplied with the the Tom - Tom GPS system. Anyhow I
am still a big time novice, but what are the advantages of the 700
over the 650 and has anyone had any experience with the Tom - Tom GPS
System? I am sure I am going to have have a million questions over
the next few weeks. Oh one last one, I found a site www.mididb to
download ringtones, except they are all midi files. I tried to
download one that was over 64K and got a error message saying it was
too big to be used as a ring tone. Will I have the same problem with
the 700? Does anyone know where I can dowload MP3 ringtones that
will work with the 650? Oh one last thing, when I get my 700 I will
have a used 650 available for a low price? Any interest?
