I have backup man version 2.2 and have it set to do differential backups and to backup every hour.
Made lots of changes with contacts and task before 6pm. I sync with Outlook. This was all yesterday. Then this am I had to restore from yesterdays backup. So I chose the last one of the day. Oct 2nd at 11pm. All restored just fine except for changes with contacts and task. I am wondering if I should stop useing differential backups....... The other issue is I have the 700p and reset doct. I notice that after running a backup with backup man that reset doct cleans the cache and i have been doing this for some time. On Sunday I saw in Backupman that it has the option as well to clean the dbcache and so I selected the option. Since Sunday I have been having more resets. After the restore today I unchecked the option of clearing dbcach in Backupman. But more important why did my changes in contacts and task not restore? If I change these things prior to 6pm on Oct 2nd and I restore from the backup dated oct 2nd 11pm ... where did my changes go? I thought ll was ok this am and i have already synced my treo 700p and i discovered when i got to work that this has happened. So now I dont know how to get back those changes and i am not sure why differential backup is not cathcing these changes any ideas Chris
