He seemed pretty credible, as he knew about two different backup apps, had Google Maps on his own Treo (755p), and recommended TCPMP for video playing (I was just making general inquiries to see what he said). Maybe he was just yanking my chain, but given that he stood to gain more from me buying a new phone that had GPS built in than me waiting for this supposedly forthcoming Treo solution, I didn't see a lot of reason to doubt him.
