I was similarly gun-shy. On my Centro, though, as with my 755p, I did sync with the beta Desktop for Vista, and sync'd the rest of Outlook (tasks and notes) along with Handyshopper, and, later, Filez, KeyCaps600, D2G and a few games. All seems to be well.
I don't know about iSilo and Snappermail. I don't need Snapper, even though I own it, since Versamail can sync with the rest of my non-Exchange email accounts just fine. I'm also minimizing recurring events, and I definitely know better than to accept meeting invites in Outlook (one thing that killed Versamail the last time I tried it). I don't know what exactly interfered and killed my 755, but I guess I'm gun shy now. So can I survive without my previously must-have apps, like HandyShopper and iSilo and Snappermail? Has anyone else tried this?
