I've been thinking about Apple's policy of not accepting cash for the iPhone.
Isn't it the case that the U.S. Feddle Gummint mandates the acceptance of cash? As I 'member it, shortly after the War 'Tween the States, there were problems about different currencies being honored in some states and not others. The Feddle Gummint stepped in and said, "Guess what everybody! THIS is cash--EVERYWHERE. If you offer something for sale, YOU DO accept the green paper with the dead presidents on it. We ain't axin' ya, we're tellin' ya." Isn't that roughly what happened? If so, what's the deal with Apple? Any historians or lawyers care to field this? -- America is sick. We need a doctor, not a lawyer. Dr. Ron Paul for president in 2008. America's last chance.
